About Me
My name is Paula Mayo and I have been doing hair for over 34 years!I am a certified color specialist with Pravana, Redken, and Joico. I have a passion for hair and I believe in keeping up with the latest styles and the newest trends and techniques in order to keep me from becoming just another hairstylist. I am by appointment only and have an online booking site for your convenience. However you may also may call or text for an appointment. Check out my gallery! My Story
I guess you could say I have loved doing hair since I was a little girl! Every single barbie had a hair cut or style and my favorite toy was my barbie head! In high school Art was my passion. I took four years of art honors. My favorite thing to do was to draw people. I have a knack for that. Knowing this, doing hair and makeup was basically my canvas. My goal is to now teach the skills I have learned onto others and to hopefully learn more myself. This career never stays the same. It's always changing. If you don't grow with it, you become stale.
My Vision
My vision is to grow each year into a better stylist. To continue to learn and offer more of myself to my clients. I am a certified master colorist by Pravana. I have been using Pravana for over 18 years. My thoughts are when you stop learning in your field is when your career will end. No matter in what you do, you should always strive for the best.
